Welcome To My (nth) Life! ❤️

Hello Philippines 🇵🇭 and Hello World 🗺️!!!

Welcome to my newest blog! 😊 I've been writing (on and off) since 2006 (click to read my blog history) but recent times have impacted me A LOT that I came to the point of not wanting to share anything anymore.

Until a few days ago, when I heard a still small voice telling me to write again. It was reinforced by a workshop I attended yesterday which made me realize that my stories are worth telling, and that even if nobody else finds value in them, the simple act of sharing them is my humble contribution to the world.

And then I had a conversation with a dear CFC Tito who shared with me Fr. Tito Caluag's homily on the Feast of Mary, Mother of the Church.

We do not go until our mission is over. (Hindi tayo mamamatay hangga't hindi tapos ang ating misyon.) 

These encounters are more than enough affirmation for me to start this blog and if I may say, rekindle my passion for the pen. Several years ago, I received an inspiration from the Lord to write His story. That inspiration still holds true. 

This is my mission: to share God's goodness and faithfulness. 

I am alive because God breathe life into me. I stay alive because I live under His protection and providence. And the only way I can honor this beautiful gift is to proclaim the greatness of the One who loves me (and you) enough to give up His life that I (and you) may live. ❤️

As I celebrate my new life (no, it's not my birthday, but we survived another life test), I begin this blog. This is my humble attempt to turn my mess into a message and my tests into testimonies. 😊

Dreams Do Come True ❣️

Seven years ago, our family made the biggest decision of our lives. For the past 28 years, I have lived with my parents. We have always believed that no matter how difficult life gets, as long as we're together, we will overcome. But year 2014 was truly a turning point. You could say it was a "breaking" point for me too, which eventually turned into a breakthrough! A little back story. In 2012, I decided to quit my corporate job to work full time for my community. On that same year, the owner of the house we've been living in for more than two decades, decided to sell the property and we were given less than a month to look for a new place. During that time, Papa and I were the only ones working and we were earning just enough for the daily needs of the family, excluding the rent.
